Tyrannosauroidea is a superfamily of coelurosaurian theropod dinosaurs. They comprise over thirty species anywhere from 3 feet to 45 feet. Tyrannosauroids are some of the oldest coelurosaurs and oldest tetanurines at 170 milion-years-old [1]. Only twenty million years older than the first tetanurine!
